Wes Stone is one of the nation’s most accomplished whitetail bowhunters, known for dedication, skill, and consistent success. For over four decades, he has pursued mature bucks with discipline, harvesting trophy-class whitetails and earning widespread respect.

His national recognition began in 1995 as one of the first Tennessee hunters featured in North American Whitetail. That milestone led to appearances in Tennessee Sportsman, Ohio Valley Sportsman, and Alberta Wilderness, where his experiences have inspired hunters across North America.

In the 1990s, Wes expanded his expertise by guiding elk hunts in New Mexico, sharpening his skills as a professional outdoorsman. He later shared his knowledge on outdoor television programs like Southern Woods and Waters. His competitive ability was proven when he won the prestigious Jackie Caudell Invitational, defeating top bowhunters nationwide.

Wes has also strengthened the hunting community by promoting and hosting deer hunting expos, fostering education and fellowship. As Co-Owner of LSB Promotion, he helped organize influential events. His writing has appeared in multiple publications, including Whitetail Life as recently as 2025.

In 2013, he founded the Tennessee Deer Hunters Facebook Group, now the largest single-state deer hunting community in the U.S., connecting thousands of hunters.

More than 30 years after his first national feature, Wes remains active, highlighted by a 186-inch typical archery buck in 2025. Guided by his Christian faith and conservative values, he strives to honor God, family, and the hunting tradition.
